How do I print off another copy of my ID card?
Login into the Current Clients section to reprint an ID card or any additional forms, such as your policy certificate or claim forms. For your convenience, you can find the Current Clients section in the right-hand side of almost every page where you can create a log in and password to gain access to the client portal.
Can I fax in my claims?
Yes! You can fax in a claim if they are legible and do not appear to be altered in any way. Faxes may be sent to 1-317-655-4505, Attention: Claims Department.
How long does it take to process my application for coverage?
Most short-term applications will be processed immediately once received or when applied for online. Policies such as long-term global medical policies and group employee policies take between 7 - 14 business days to underwrite. When your policy is approved you will receive your policy in the mail or electronically when online fulfillment option is chosen. Need coverage sooner? When I purchase with the on-line enrollment form, how will I know that you have accepted my purchase?
When purchasing a plan on-line, you will receive an email confirming your purchase. When applying for Global Medical Insurance on-line, you will receive an email confirming that your application has been received. The underwriting process to determine eligibility will begin upon receipt of your on-line application. After your enrollment is processed, you will be sent a fulfillment kit which includes a declaration of insurance, ID card, claim form and certificate wording.
Do I need to carry the Insurance ID card with me at all times?
Your ID card contains important information including contact information to use in the event a medical emergency should arise. We recommend that you carry it with you at all times.

Is a pre-existing condition covered?
Certain policies can cover pre-existing conditions or cover a sudden re-occurrence of pre-existing conditions. See your policy for details or contact us at 816-679-9276 with questions. We are happy to help.
How do I know which doctor to visit outside the U.S. or in the U.S. and Canada?
There is no PPO network outside the U.S. You are free to visit any doctor or hospital. Make sure to keep all copies of bills for claims purpose. Inside the U.S. and Canada there is a network of doctors to visit, however you will still have coverage if you go outside of network. Once you have enrolled in coverage, login to the Current Clients portal to search for hospitals or doctors in your area or country, and even facilities that offer direct billing with the insurance company to reduce your amount of paperwork.
What if I have an accident, sickness, or medical emergency?
- Seek medical care immediately.
- Call the number on the back of your ID card and notify them that you are seeking medical attention:

- Provide the hospital or medical facility a copy of your International Medical Coverage card. With International Medical Coverage, you may use any doctor or medical facility.
- After treatment is complete, keep all copies of your paperwork in the event you need to file a claim. Each hospital's billing process is unique. They may work directly with your International Medical Insurance Carrier or request you file a claim -- either way, you are protected with your International Medical Coverage.

Claims can be filed quickly and easily. Simply do the following:
